The Cirque Du Soleil and its new show Quidam at o2 World Berlin

The new production of the Cirque Du Soleil is going on arena tour and is to stop by at the O₂ World Berlin from 7 to 11 May 2014. Eighteen years after the premiere of the show, the world-famous Cirque Du Soleil will convert Quidam into arena format and bring 52 of the world’s best acrobats, singers, musicians and actors to the big stage of Berlin.

However, Quidam is not your usual Cirque Du Soleil show. The acrobatic dances, the special effects, the choreography and the music all work together to create a story that does not revolve around fairytale characters but deals with the fears and wishes of regular people. Quidam’s protagonist is Zoé, a young girl who feels neglected by her parents and starts to seek refuge in a dream world. In this fascinating world, Zoé meets a number of curious and powerful characters who comfort and inspire her. Quidam focuses on the breathtaking acrobatic performances coupled with an emotional and well arranged soundtrack that leads the audience through Zoés adventures. The show is full of choreographic masterpieces, including elements like "Banquine" which are sure to put the acrobat’s physical flexibility to the test. Together with the colourful costumes and the beautiful décor, the show makes for a visual and acoustic masterpiece.
