Reusable Cup System With In-House Rinsing Line

From now on, visitors to the Uber Arena will receive their drinks at events in recycled Ökocups, which will be cleaned in an in-house dishwashing facility after use.

By switching to reusable cups, a deposit cup system will be introduced at Uber Arena, where no cup will leave the arena and thus remain in the recycling loop.

Cup Deposit

From now on, a deposit of EUR 3 per cup will be charged when drinks are handed out, which will be refunded when they are returned to the snack stands or separate return points. Alternatively, visitors can donate their cups to the eco-social sustainability project FAME FOREST - according to the motto: Donate cups, plant trees.

Please note that reusable cups that have left the arena cannot be brought back into the arena for hygiene reasons.
Visitors who wish to take their cups with them can only hand them in as donation cups at the entrance on their next visit. Separate bins will be set up in the entrance area for this purpose. These cups will then be melted down and used to produce new reusable cups.

Ecocups with up to 100% recycled content

The ecocups, which are available cold and hot drinks, are mostly made of plastic that has already been recycled and are also reprocessed to 100% at the end of their life.

The cups are cleaned on the basis of the highest hygienic and ecological standards in the in-house washing line, which is operated with green electricity.
