ISTAF Indoor live at Uber Arena
The first ever indoor ISTAF meeting is to take place at O2 World Berlin on 1 March 2014. 46 years after the last ISTAF was held in an arena, the famous one-day track-and-field meeting is moving back to indoors. Additionally, the audience will see a very special premiere: it is the only indoor event which features the event of men’s discus throw, including current world champion Robert Harting.
ISTAF is not solely a track-and-field meeting with seven events, but the oldest and most traditional one-day athletic contest in the world. For the first time in this millennium, visitors of the ISTAF can enjoy the seven running, jumping and throwing events in an arena atmosphere with comfortable seats and outstanding sound and visual perfection. Amongst Robert Harting, pole vault world champion Raphael Holzdeppe as well as shot put world champion David Storl have been confirmed for the contest.
