DESCRIPTION:The Cirque du Soleil is to return to the Uber Arena with its new production "Varekai" in October 2015. In a total of six shows from 8 to 11 October, some of the best acrobats and musicians of the world will fascinate the audience. An extraordinary world exists deep inside a forest, at the summit of a volcano - a world where anything is possible. A world called Varekai. A young man falls from the sky, and the story of Varekai begins. Parachuted into the shadows of a magical forest, a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastical creatures, this young man sets off on an adventure both absurd and extraordinary. Cirque du Soleil was founded in 1984 by 20 street performers. Today, more than 1,300 artists from 50 different countries are employed by the company. Varekai is the fifth Cirque du Soleil production which can be seen at the Uber Arena.
