DESCRIPTION:The best of 20 years: Söhne Mannheims are set to come to the Uber Arena on 18 November 2015. For their 20th anniversary, they will present their best songs from the new album “Evoluzion” together with Xavier Naidoo, who is coming back to the stage with them after a 2 year break.In winter 1995 in Mannheim, Xavier Naidoo and seven other musicians formed a group named “Söhne Mannheims” with a partly changing line-up from time to time. They reached their first big hit with the debut album “Zion” and the single “Geh davon aus”, which hit second place in the German single-charts. Also the following tour with their second album “Noiz” was such a huge success that they had to extend the show. Furthermore they founded their own charity organization “Aufwind-Mannheim” to help socially deprived children in Mannheim.The Söhne Mannheims are one of the first bands to successfully do German Soul music mixed with Rap, Rock’n’Roll, R’n’B and other genres, always giving a great stage performance and reaching out for the audience with their songs.
