On 25 April 2018, the UK singer will present the songs from his newest album "The Thrill Of It All" live in Berlin.Samuel Frederick Smith was born in London in 1992. He played in several Jazz bands before he graduated from the Youth Music Theatre UK, where he starred in their 2007 production of “Oh! Carol”. Soon after, he studied singing and songwriting under jazz pianist Joanna Eden for a few years.He rose to fame in October 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure's breakthrough single "Latch". Just one year later, he reached number one in the charts for the first time in cooperation with Naughty Boys song "La La La".In 2014, Sam Smith released his first own studio album "In the Lonely Hour". The single "Money on My Mind" was his second number one hit in the UK. The song "Stay with Me" reached the most international success, being placed number two in the US Billboard Hot 100. Thereupon he won several Grammy, BRIT and Billboard Music Awards. Together with Jimmy Napes, he composed the song “Writings on the Wall” which was used as the theme song for the James Bond movie "Spectre" in 2015.
