Their debut album "Speak & Spell" from 1981 already experienced noticeable success: Songs like "Just Can't Get Enough" firstly intoduced the band into the British Top 10 and slowly made them known to an ever growing European audience. Nevertheless, the album "Violator" from 1990 was able to top everything that came before: With over 7.5 million sales and their presumably most famous song, "Enjoy the Silence", it undoubtedly represents one of the highlights of the band's history.
