With his divine orchestra and his reinterpretations of classical pieces he will make the hearts of music enthusiasts leap for joy.André Rieu's talent does not come from nowhere: Born in 1949 in Masstricht/Netherlands into a family of musicians, he grew up with classical music and started his active music career at the age of 19. He founded the ensemble Het Maastrichts Salon Orkest and became more and more popular amongst fans of classical music. Due to his performances in Karl Moik's Musikantenstadl, his German fan base grew even more rapidly. In the middle of the 90s, André Rieu founded another orchestra named Johann Strauß Orchester, which has accompanied him on his tours all over the world ever since.Passion, intuition and talent - that is André Rieu.
